We provide:
We deliver in-home DVA assessments across the Manning, Midcoast, and Barrington Coast. We support you to access your DVA healthcare, and we also work with your other doctors to make sure they know how to do it better.
Our experienced veteran nurse has lived Defence experience, including overseas operational service, and years of volunteer wellbeing support through the RSL. That means we understand veterans' needs and DVA supports from the inside. We keep it clear, simple, and respectful.
Veteran Nursing PTY LTD is committed to excellence in providing home-based health assessments, treatment, and health literacy support for MidCoast veterans, informed by veteran centric expert primary health care knowledge and authentic healthcare partnerships with GP clinics and local hospitals, to improve veteran wellbeing throughout the region.
Referrals for Veterans and War Widows
Referrals for Veterans and War Widows
All referrals should be preferably be in the form of a D904 from the veterans or war widows GP; or when discharging from a hospital can be completed by a Discharging Registered Nurse. It is preferred that a GP health summary and the veteran's list of DVA accepted conditions be provided also prior to the consult.

Veteran Nursing provides free advisory support to residential aged care facilities to improve care for veterans and war widows. This includes practical staff education, resident reviews, and guidance on accessing DVA supports, equipment, and services, helping facilities better identify and support veterans within their care.
