We provide:
A very unique and wholistic in home veteran nursing assessment process which is able to be delivered throughout the Manning, Midcoast, and Barrington Coast region. We not only provide direct support to help you access DVA support health care but support you other health provider(s) to ensure they know how to do it better too.
Our experienced veteran nurse brings lived Defence experience, including overseas operational service, together with years of volunteer wellbeing support through the RSL to their clinical planning. This breadth of experience provides a strong understanding of veterans’ needs and the supports available to them through DVA. This unique combination of skills allows Veteran Nursing to deliver care that is truely unique, clear, simple, respectful, and stress free.

Veteran Nursing delivers timely DVA assessments with clear communication and accurate documentation, reducing admin for your practice and ensuring veterans get the right care at the right time. Veteran Nursing provides free advisory support to residential aged care facilities to improve care for veterans and war widows. This includes practical staff education, resident reviews, and guidance on accessing DVA supports, equipment, and services, helping facilities better identify and support veterans within their care.

Referrals for Veterans and War Widows
All referrals must be in the form of a D904 from the veterans or war widows GP or when discharging from a hospital can be completed by a Discharging Registered Nurse. It is preferred that a GP health summary and the veteran's list of DVA accepted conditions be provided also prior to the consult.
